No Lights No Lycra is a casual free-form dance class in the dark for the pure joy of dancing!
When: Every Monday Night
Doors open at 7.15pm, music on and lights out from 7.30pm.
To ensure the safety of the participants and their belongings, doors are locked at 7:30pm, so please arrive between 7:15pm-7:30pm.

Cost: $10 Adult, $8 Concession / Student
BYO water bottle and wear comfortable clothes.
No Lights No Lycra:
- is a place for people to come and dance freely in a friendly, non-threatening, drug and alcohol free atmosphere.
- is an event that occurs in a dimly lit room: with the lights low people can truly dance without worrying about what they look like.
- is a time to dance independently in the company of others – in order for people to truly lose themselves in the music it is important to keep talking to a minimum.
- is not about technique and being a ‘good’ dancer, it’s about the experience of dancing with no one watching and the joy that this brings.
- is a place to exercise at your own pace while having fun.
- promotes a healthy mind and a healthy body.
- is about making dance accessible for everyone.
- It is an inclusive event – open to all ages, genders, backgrounds and demographics.
- is a place to shake out the stresses of the week, let go of your inhibitions and completely be yourself.

Please note:
If you have booked a place and realise you can no longer make it, please get in touch (via text – details below) ASAP and I will try to sell your ticket to someone on the waitlist (if there is one) so you can either be provided with a refund or move your ticket to a future event. There is no guarantee this can happen but I will try my best.
If you do not turn up or your ticket is unable to be sold on, a refund will not be provided.
I also require full names of all ticket holders for COVID contact-tracing purposes and to make it fair for everyone. Please confirm with others of their availability BEFORE booking for them – if a full name of an attendee is missing, the ticket will be automatically refunded.
