Nada Yoga
with Cassie Stevens-Lynch

November 9 (Tuesday)
at 5:30 pm

Class length
75 minutes

Location
The Fourth Floor, 65 Murray St, HOBART

Join Cassie Stevens-Lynch for a beautiful restorative 'Nada (Sound) Yoga' class every second Tuesday 5:30pm-6:45pm commencing November 9th.

Crystal sound bowls are played in a way to promote a more relaxed mind and nervous system. In a well-played sound bath, the sounds bring listeners on a journey of self-discovery and inner exploration, promote deep relaxation and peace, expansion of consciousness, and help to open the body’s entire energetic system.

Cassie uses a combination of  7 Crystal singing bowls and Tuning Forks during her Sound Bath Meditations. When the practitioner is skilled in combining the sounds,  they are highly effective in relaxing the mind and body and helping one to feel a greater sense of overall health and wellbeing.

Cassie leads a Restorative Yoga and Sound Bath Meditation Class, which combines a mixture of supported Yoga Poses with Yoga Bolsters to help gently open up the body while the mind relaxes. Crystal Sound Bowls and tuning forks also help the muscles to relax, which helps in postures to relax deeper into the pose.

About Cassie:
Yoga has been a part of Cassie’s life for 12 years, as a mother of two small girls, yoga offers her a chance to reground. Her practice has also helped her grow stronger, and more flexible, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires her to live each moment more mindfully.

In 2012 Cassie completed her level 1 Reiki Course In GOA India, and later her 200-hour training with OM Factory in New York City. Upon completing her certificate at OM Factory, she set her sights on teaching Yoga for injury prevention in athletes.  And continues to find passion in sharing her knowledge of yoga with those around her. In her classes, she combines creative and challenging sequencing to help you deepen your practice whilst quieting your mind. Her style of teaching is based on proper alignment of the body while using the breath to deepen the pose and calm the mind.

As a DJ, she has always found a strong connection between healing, and sound.  This naturally drew Cassie to South Bath Meditations, which in turn has led Cassie to further her studies in sound healing in order to help those around her by using Crystal Bowls as a way of healing.
She feels she will always be a student of the practice and is deeply grateful for the loving wisdom from her teachers, and her students that have shared their practice with her along the way.
She seeks to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind, and soul with yoga and sound healing, her hope is that you leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, stronger, and more balanced.
